Yes, indeed I have made a new friend and I've got a feeling we are going to be best of friends by the end of the year. This friend of mine is none other then the school's library. In the past, I have never spent so much time in the library. Ok maybe i guess im a little exaggerated but its true. From what I can remember, in secondary school I don't even remember myself studying in the library at all or making use of any of the library's resources. I think at this rate I might as well turn into a nerd. I really want my life back but the A levels has robbed it all off.

According to the straits times, the world is seeing a spike in obessed people. This is especially so in Huntington, West Virgina. It has a reputation for being the "fattest city in America". There about 45 percent of kids aged between 10 and 11 years who are already obese. The schools there have burgers, fries, microwaved pizzas, and sodas on their lunch menu. People there are gaining pounds like crazy. But here am I wanting to gain some fats. Yes I want more fats badly. But it's alittle impossible though. Maybe I should go to Huntington to live.

As I'm typing this I feel a little sense of guilt. Not because I did something wrong or anything but because I went out in a Friday evening. An evening which I could have spent doing something productive in preparation for my prelims. It kind of gives me the chills when I think of my peers who are mugging like there is no tomorrow. But on the flip side, I'm really glad I went out with yilin today because I enjoyed myself, talking to her just about anything under the sun. Cheers to our friendship(: Strolled down Clarke Quay, and the unfamiliar eateries seemed to tell me that I have not been there for quite awhile. One thing that caught my eye was this food outlet:

It has a name C clinic. At first thought, it seemed to me like your usual chill out place, except that it was some F&B outlet seeking an unusual name. But on closer look, it got me disgusted. It really lived up to it's name-clinic. Everything is hospital oriented. From the seats to the fake drips to the fake operation theater lights and even the waiters were dressed up in nurses uniforms. Freaky. I heard that the food is prepared on stainless steel operating tables and served in bedpans, while cocktails are served in syringes and drip-bags. I don't understand, what trills can one get out of this? In my opinion, it is just plain sick. I think I read one article quite some time back talking about this. I guess it's still surviving after all.
Moving away from this I ate at Waraku in the Central. It's a jap eatery that reminds me of sushi tel. I also stopped by sticky to get those handmade sweets. These sweets have recently become rather popular. When I first knew about it two years ago, hardly anyone knew about it. Now it is no longer an unusual sweet.
I also made sure I did not reach home too late because it would not be pratical for me to return home late on the eve of my parent-teacher meeting. It would not do me any good especially when Ms B will spam my mum with all those remarks about my under performing results.
Goodnight♥
